RSA NIGHT – THURSDAY
We meet every Thursday night at the Otahuhu Club, level 1, Victoria Arcade, 435 Great South Road, Otahuhu, Auckland.
The ode is read at 7pm. We have raffles, a handle night, and great camaraderie.
ANZAC Day Dawn Parade held at Otahuhu Servicemen's Cemetery at 6.30 am
ANZAC Day Civic Service held at the Monument on the corner of Great South Rd and Piki Thompson Way at 9.30 am.
This Monument is classified as one of the best war memorials in Auckland. It is nearly 90 years old and was cast in bronze in 1928 in England and shipped here as a memorial to the World War 1 fallen soldiers.
Armistice Day held at the Otahuhu Cemetery Archway at 10.45 am on the 11 November.
The Otahuhu and District RSA has been an integral part of the Otahuhu community for many years and celebrated its 90th year in 2015. We are proud to be part of this honourable tradition.
